Most pink worms are the sinking variety. Pink worms are just plastic bass worms that are colored pink (bubble gum). They are available in every bass catalog. If they are not marked floating then they are the sinking variety.

Yup, the only floating worm I'm aware of is the Mr. Twister Exude worm. Others, like the Berkeley Power worm and Yamaguchi curly tail all sink. Highly recommend the above three.

I put four brands of pink worms in a very large bowl of water this afternoon and here are the results:

Seducer - very bouyant, floated on top of the water.

Exude - same as Seducer - floated right on top.

Yamaguchi - fairly bouyant - stayed towards the top at first and then suspended below surface but did not sink to bottom.

Killer worms - the least bouyant of the four tested - slowly sank to the bottom and stayed on the bottom.

thanks for all the input -

Thanks for the research.
I get my worms from Canada with no name on them and the ones I have bought from Netcraft sink.
