As i'm sure some of you have seen on Facebook, or heard on the radio. G Loomis has come out with new IMX rods. In the past the rods were only available in a few select models, now IMX is offered in 27 new models. Click on the bottom picture of the rod to see the video in the breaking machine at Loomis.

So, what's different about these rods?
Increased durability (see video (if you've got questions).
The blanks are 15-20% lighter on average.
New ergonomic grips and cork, trust me when I say they're comfortable!
Fuji K guides replaced standard guides, Fuji K guides help eliminate tangles with braid and braid wrap!
New models in addition to the tried and true! (see rod chart)
Very noticeable increase in sensitivity compared to GL3 or Steelhead series rods.

Somethings that haven't changed:
All hand made from start to finish by people who give a damn, in Woodland, WA.
None of our rods are made by Shimano, or made overseas, every single rod is hand made in Washington state by the fine folks at G Loomis.
Still a limited lifetime warranty on workmanship and manufacturer defects on all Loomis rods.

These rods are being launched at the Portland Sportsman's Show next week. See the invite for details!

A few lucky folks on here are getting theirs early...I'll let them chime in once they fish them.

These are the real deal, why knock them before you even try them! The people that have been fishing the prototypes have been very impressed!

Like the longer rod options finally!!! Still won't make me switch back to gloomis. But its very nice to see them step up with longer rods available in the imx flavor. Almost like taking a step back in time when they covered all the bases.

Now bring out the imx noodle rods and I'll be a Loomis guy again

If she can't convince you to buy another loomis....In all seriousness, though, why not?

What rod are you thinking of? Is a 13' 2 power not enough of a noodle rod?

I wish we could send everyone a pair to fish, but that would put us out of business, as it would any manufacturer. If you're interested in the rods, ask the guys who will fish them once they get them tomorrow! Kent and Tom from Three Rivers. Gabe, Jake, or Chris from Sportco. You can ask Canyon Man shortly, or Bob, as he will be running new IMX's and chronarch's as well. Not to mention Terry Mulkey, David Johnson, Chris Vertopolous, Scott Haugen, Terry Wiest, Lance Fisher, Mike Sexton, Travis Moncrief, etc...

What rod(s) are you looking to try?

Is the 1084 IMX still going to be manufactured, and using the new IMX material? Or is the 1084 IMX being discontinued? That model is not listed on your list above?

1165. And, I'll post on all the boards about it being my all time favorite rod! Only rod I'll ever fish it's so good!!

Now, build me a 1205-4 bug rod and it'll be my second favorite to the 1165 that I'd gladly demo for you.

I think I will save $200.00 on the custom Sage and buy the 1165c IMX. 9'8" 8-17...perfect for Idaho's Clearwater! Can't wait. Now the Seahawks just need to end the Manning myth and this week will be great!

Joe - I've got an 1165 with your name on it for the rest of the winter run/springer season.

Noodle enough!? my heaviest rod is a 11'6 8-12 haha.

I'm talking true noodle rods. 1-4 or 2-6 rated 11' or longer. Old school 13' 4-8 Loomis would be sweet, of course in a true noodle action. Not these light rated "float rod" actions you see so often in the center pin world.

Joe goes by Winterun. We get mixed up from time to time. However, if the offer stands the rod would be in good hands, fished a bunch, and returned in excellent condition.

Well since you asked... IMX 1264 2S STFR would put the hurt on Snohomish system King,Coho and Steelhead...We could swap out some old GL2's...but we only fish a 100 days a year so We're probably not qualified...lol

Need to start offering rod models in both casting and spinning...1264 especially.

How bout some blank offerings? Not a fan of fuji guides or blank thru handles.
