For those of you that don't get the Fisherman's Heaven TV program on your set are really missing a great program. These guys are nuts (and they catch fish too!!)
I have seen many fishing shows and this one rates right up there with the best. Salmon and Steelheaders will really like it. NO BASS...
Kevin, thanks for the tape. I'll watch it several times and wish to catch some like you guys did. Looks like you found a lot of our Peninsula rain and still caughtem'.

I have seen the show on satelite dish. Good photography and fishing. But didn't you find the 2 hosts a bit on the semi-obnoxious/forced humor side? They don't quite have the star touch that they seem to think. You have to be real good and natural at it to pull that type of stuff off well. Otherwise good. ..shtick

I am a sponsor of the fishermans heaven show, The first time I met Mike and Kevin was when they were filming the spring kings episode.
I think they do a pretty darn good job of being two regular guys who just like to fish. I would rather watch there show for days then listen to some 6 toe banjo playin chew spit dribblin redneck talk about flippin for bass.

Sorry, loomis man, it is all in fun. I just get sick and tired of watching bass t.v and that is all they have on there. Might as well have nascar stickers on there boats as well.

Fishtick: The two hosts don't have the "star touch" because they aren't actors, just two guys out there doing the thing they love to do most - fish! The humor isn't forced..it's just Kevin and Mike having a good time with the guides they are with. Some of their best stuff is when they forget that the camera is rolling.

TV hosts, I can see that you are good guys. I'm also sure that you would want honest feedback opinion for it's benefit. I included an honest reaction of both good and not as good points. And with all due respect, nobody forgets the camera is rolling, especially guys concerned with how their TV product will turn out! Get real with us here. ..shtick

YOU get real....are you telling me that YOU wouldn't forget that the camera is rolling when you're battling a 23-pound steelie? Maybe you've caught more fish than me....because I DO forget that the camera is on when my heart is in my throat.

We appreciate all feedback...good and bad (just like everyone in the world is an expert at managing fisheries, so too is everyone in the world a TV producer). I just wanted to correct a mistaken assumption on your part that we're somehow trying to act. When we're being "goofy" it's just adrenaline that kicked in after we caught (or quite often, lost) a great fish.

Yes. I said nobody. However, I am impressed with your ability to focus your inner mind's thoughts more on a fish than the "eye". If you measure up in other areas, that is exactly what the porno industry pays some bucks for; that kind of focus on substance over the camera (in case your show cancels) .
