I just had a friend of mine call me this morning at work just to rub in that he was floating down the Hoh river and had about 3 take downs. Can anyone clarify what is going on. I thought that the Hoh didn't open for springers until June 1st. I had told him that and he said that it is open for a few days only. Does anyone have any info on this? If it is open I would like to go!

The Hoh is closed ... to ALL fishing until June 1. After June 1, it is open for summer steelhead and jacks (24 inches and under) only. As of now, there is NO springer season on the Hoh this summer. Better call your friend back

Hey guys, my friend called me two days after he had told me that he was on the Hoh. He was just pulling my leg. He just wanted to give me a rise because him and uncle Dave were golfing at a local course in Seattle. Ha ha, very funny guys! I knew that river wasn't open. No worry, see ya!
