About a year ago one of our company vans disappeared from our warehouse. Got a call from the Aberdeen police Tuesday morning saying that it is sitting on an Aberdeen street, been there for a long time. Driving down today with the boss to pick it up. Dogfish took some pics ,looks to be in good shape, still has new tires on it, they even took the time to lock it up. Seems to be a dash and dump a couple of blocks from 101.

Lock the doors if you stop anywhere.

Glad to be of help today, and it was good to hear that it started right up after a jump.

Couldn't turn the van rescue into a fishing adventure JG?

Thought about it, but not on short notice. Dogfish was a great help, and then we stopped at McCleary to do a pick up at a vendor. No problems what so ever.

I've worked here for 12 years now.

Some parts are indeed nice. There has been some reviltalization of different areas, but Aberdeen really doesn't know how to dress things up.

I carry a gun daily because we are right across from the bus depot where on any given day I can witness a drug deal from where I sit if I get bored and decide to people watch for more than 5 minutes outside of my window.

Had transients break into a building while I was in the process of rehabbing it and I ejected them at gunpoint while blinding them with my flashlight. I don't think they knew I had drawn, because all they saw was my surefire light in their face, while the whole time I barked my best verbal judo "out, Out, OUT..."

Found a gun in our parking lot, cheap .22 revolver, that someone had dumped. Did I mention that I may be armed at all times when I'm here?

(or did I detect a note of sarcasm) wink

It's a great place to be from. My Cananadian friend always pronounces the sister city as hoocum.
