Looking for the names & numbers for a few guides working out of Everett where we'll be staying from 6/28 - 7/4. This would be for steelhead I guess.

Also, how good a charter service is AllStar? Are there any others? We want to do some salmon fishing while we're there.

I'm from California so I'm not real familiar with Washington.

I don't think we're going to have time to get to the Peninsula. We're sticking to the Everett area.

Allstar charters is definitely tops for saltwater fishing out of Everett. If you do have the time to get out to the Peninsula and want to do some halibut, TommyCod is the man. I'm also looking for his #, as I lost it.

Gary Krein (All Star) is working south Puget Sound this time of the year. I think he is keeping his boat in Seattle. Reports are fairly good down there. If you want a local Steelhead guide from the Everett area you can't miss with River Otter Guide service, his name is Rod Bush and can be reached at 425-334-6318 or visit his web site at: www.greatnw.com/riverotter
another good local river guide would be Sam Ingram who can be reached through Rod Bush.

One other guide to check would be Tom Nelson (for saltchuck trips). I have attended many of his seminars at the boat and sportsmans shows. Only problem is I don't know his ph #. Anyone else know it??? John's Sporting Goods may have it also.
Tight lines, Jeff

In taping our outdoor TV show, we have had the opportunity to fish w/ a large number of guides around here. Gary Krein is one of them and he is excellent on the salt water.

If you are looking for a river trip in the Everett area, Rod Bush of River Otter Guide Service is as good as they get. His website is at http://www.greatnw.com/riverotter and his phone number is (425) 334-6318

The time of year you are going to be here is good for sturgeon on the Snohomish or the Stillaguamish and Rod Bush is adept at those fisheries as well. Jim Harrington of Action Guide Service (www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Falls/8367/) is also a master of the sturgeon. His phone number is (360) 403-9215 Sturgeon are a blast!
