As mentioned in my other posts, we'll be in Everett from 6/28 - 7/3. I'm thinking of bringing some tackle with me so we can do a little fishing on our own. I have three options. Lightweight spinning (4lb - 6lb), medium weight spinning (15 lb) and medium weight trolling (rigged for 20lb & 30lb).

What would you bring??

Sorry about that. I thought I had included that info but it must have slipped my keyboard. We would be fishing the rivers -- most likely from shore. I have no idea what you can catch that way. Steelhead??

I'm a Sierra trout guy. I typically use light spinning tackle -- 4lb test -- to catch browns, rainbows, etc. up to about 6 - 8lbs (if lucky and careful). Most are in the 1 - 2 lb range.

I have one spinning rig that I use for surf fishing (12lb test) which (I think) might be suitable for the northwest. But, I've never fished in Washington so I'm searching for clues -- any clues. <G>
