Seriously - this is the first college ball season in a long time where I'm a bit baffled. Lots of good teams out there, but I can't pick a winner. The Trees will do fine and it'll come down to the Ducks game for the Pac 12 winner. I have OSU winning the Big 10 ahead of my Huskers which sucks (reality and all that)....

Hank has a bald head with a mouth that spews big loads of junk and I (and many others it seems) consider him to be a real dickhead. Nick's theory is looking pretty solid.

I think Stanford is going to be good, but not great...I think the Dawgs may be 6-0 when the UO Ducks game comes along. Playing Stanford here in Seattle will be the toughest part of that 6-0, but it's very doable.

gotta' call bull Hank. I'm thinkin' GPA and SAT was the problem. My daughter didn't (and still doesn't) have rich parents when she attended Stanford, so it ain't lack of money that prevents one from attending there.

And while I sent more $$ to Stanford than I spent on myself at UW (given it was a generation apart) I'm still rootin' for the DAWGS.

So 8-4 is your prediction? Seems a bit low for the Trees in my opinion.

My beloved Huskies win 9 games this season, and that might be stretching it a bit with no real experienced QB to lead the team. I think Miles will be the guy, but it's going to take him a few games to get in the groove again. I won't harsh on anything Petersen does for the next 3 years or so. Once he has a roster of his own recruited talent than the heat will be on him.

I'd be really happy if we just beat the Quacks and the Sun Devils - if nothing more than to shut up Summerrun and any/all Orygun bandwagon followers out there.

I'm not sold on Petersen like DanS is, but am looking forward to seeing what he can do with the team.

All I know is that I have my plane and game tickets to Hawaii for the opener! I also know that I have my UW season tickets and that we have a home game every weekend in September! I might be tailgated to death by the 1st of October!

Sadly, I think the Pac-12 title will come down to Orygun, Standfurd or F-U SC again.

And no, WSU is not winning 10 games, let alone 9 or even 8. That coach is still lucky to have a job after the Epic-Cooging of their last bowl game. Seriously, WSU took "Cooging" to a new level of Cooging that was unheard of before that bowl game. Damn, way to set the high bar, Coogs!

PS Hank, I didn't finance my daughter's Stanford education, she did. If you gots the GPA and SAT, that's possible. I just helped. And it's the whole package that's now $44k a year, not just the tuition. It was $33k then. Tell me again how it was a lack of rich parents that prevented you from attending. BTW, if I wasn't a UW alum, I'd probably be a Tree fan too. I'm on the Huskies for 9 wagon this year.
