I talked to him about a year ago and I know he was pretty burned out over the hostility on the board and was considering backing off. Like mentioned before, he seems like a really nice guy and I also hope he is well.
For whatever created all of the contempt here, Slab was a good egg IMO

He was particularly vehement in his hatred of me , a very good judge of character and he did not like me, not that I gave a Fuk what that dumfuk had to say, but he was, and made it his mission to try and get under my skin. By now you should all know that I am the supreme being of self import.
Perhaps He failed.....and was unable to take what he dished out...Or perhaps he realized that one can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink which is the death knell over here on the darkside.
His picking the Broncos last year brought a fair amount of disdainful comments down upon him, most relating to his lineage, intelligence, and such..... you know my typical grade school bully techniques he was gone shortly thereafter.
