When are the dams coming down? I think I heard a rumor that they were coming down this summer. Was that correct?

Thanks

All I can say is "Dump Slade 2000!" Saw that bumper sticker the other day. Wish I knew where to get one for my truck.

Only one dam is scheduled to be removed. Slade didn't have the power to block the lower one . He was able to block the removal of the one in the national park.

If you think Dam removal won't work read this article

SLADE MUST GO!!!

I believe the question was when will the dams come down, that is a good question the only accurrate responses were that "GORTONS GOTTA GO! as for dam removal I honestly dont know but for a fact at the present time the Department of the Interior thats the Park , if you didn't know, is operating the dams for a profit, you sell electricity and people send you money. Maybe if they did a draw down and did't have any electricity to sell the process might move along a little faster. By the way check out the major water spikes and dips that are now occuring in the river flow between the two dams at Macdonald bridge. You can get the info at the same place you get the Hoh or Queets river flows Hope I don't sound like I'm paranoi but Ive been around fisheries politics for over forty years and have found it too be the right choice. Oh the water spikes and dips the park is now of course responsible for any damage to the listed stocks of fish that are harmed by the operation of the dams they bought that we all thought thy were going to remove. Cheers I'm off to the evening bite.

Sorry guys, I blew it. Just shook big Slades hand about 10 minutes ago, and didn't throw him into a figure four, give him a noogie, brownie, or anything. I'll get him next time. My bad.

Maybe we can get Hillary to run against him Or Packwood to send him some of his interns.

A good solid ear full would make me feel real good. I am sad to say I voted for him on the last go round. Ouch Ouch Ouch...giving myself noogies.
Another good elwha Dam link story http://seattlep-i.nwsource.com/local/dams12.shtml
