That bad man Bam Bam steals souls. Pay him. JTFC! They are ... it is called a contract. hI Cluck enjoy the win???? LOLOL that wasnt a win since I had the seacrappers on the spread in my pool. a crappy team like the lions, home game on MNF and they were 6 inches from choking it. Most importantly however, nobody drilled that POS tate so I lost a damn beer on it. You better get an o line asapie..... 6 sacks, 10 hits and a bajillion near misses ... a good team is going to flatten wilson bad. What is the record of your dullfins Benedict?

Without the bad call - Hawks chances of making the playoffs are at 35%. With the call, it's 60%. Stam's still in it...for now...

You come with that lame insult because I'm jacked that Bam Bam saved the day? Your hatred of the Hawks is sad and your fandom of the Dolphins is sadder.

Did any of you know that rule before after the game? Nobody seemed to during the game. The ball was headed out of bounds. It's too bad this crap is overshadowing Bam Bam's game saving play.

I knew about it for the other end of the field (for a safety), but not on the offensive end of the field. Bam Bam's play may have just saved the Hawks season. Great hustle and play. I just hate it when refs blow calls that cost games. It should have gone to the booth. Ray Lewis was about beside himself in the post game saying that players get fined for the most minor thing, but refs get away scott free. I think he has a solid point. Refs need to start feeling it financially. These players work too hard and have too much on the line for the refs to F' it up. Anyway, I'm glad it worked out in the Hawks favor. Onto the next game....

The o-line was worse than ever. Four games in, they should be improving, not getting worse.
That said, while the Hawks didn't do a lot on offense and any good NFL team would have beaten them, they out-played the Lions last night (both sides of the ball) and deserved to win, even if it took one of their patent miracles to secure it. Detroit did nothing all night before that last drive, and when they had all but scored the go-ahead touchdown, their star player fumbled the ball (with a little help from another incredible, heads up play from the LOB) out of the back of the end zone. Pretty hard to argue that they deserved to get the call and get three more chances to win a game they shouldn't have been in (and wouldn't have been in without the horrific performance by Seattle's o-line).
Wanna win? Play well for more than the last 8:00. If you're the Seattle o-line, however, playing well for even the last 8 minutes looks like a team goal at this point. They won't make the playoffs unless that line gets a lot better.

Agree that Wilson is the obvious team MVP. Just sayin' that the one play saved their sorry butts.

Guys, I never said pay Bam Bam now. I just meant to say he is underpaid. The rest was just you assuming a bunch of horse [Bleeeeep!] which is typical on the net. People shouldn't have to explain every minuscule detail of a post to seal all little holes in the wording so that you can't stretch those holes to make the OP seem uninformed and yourself intelligent.
I agree that contracts shouldn't be negotiated 3 years from completion if that is not the standard. I also agree the standard should be to not renegotiate any contract until completion, but that never happens so it isn't the standard in the business.
All I meant was Bam Bam is right, he is grossly underpaid.
Chuck, you would have no self esteem if you didn't scour the Internet looking to make enemies and belittle others. I feel sorry for you.

I'm sort of confused. Didn't the Broncos bat the ball out of the back of the end zone on the first snap of SB48? And doesn't every punter do the same thing when the ball is snapped over their heads? Is this a defender only rule?
Bam Bam!

When the team that last had possession of the ball...the Broncos...did it, they did get a penalty...it's called a safety.
When the team that did not last possess the ball does it the ball goes back to the team that did, plus a ten yard penalty.
So yes...it is kind of a defender only rule...well, not really, but the penalty is different if you are the last possessor, or not.
Fish on...

Todd's correct. It's two different endzones though. There's the offensive endzone (behind the QB) where it makes a safety (Denver example). In that case, the defensive team has the choice to either take the penalty or take the safety. Everyone takes the safety. On the defensive end-zone (Hawks endzone last night), if the defense causes the foul, it's 1/2 the distance and a new set of downs. No offensive player would bat it out in this case. They would fall on it for a TD (because its a fumble). Hope that clarifies the rule.

No doubt Russell was the MVP. He finished with a 125 passer rating with out any protection. There has never been a QB in the history of the NFL that can do what he does. He's under paid, as is JJ Wyatt.

They've been slow starters but can rip off 6-8 games in a row. I feel a little better about our Right corner "Carey" I think he'll be fine. I;m pretty sure 11-5 will win this division. Wagner is a phugging STUD!!

There has never been a QB in the history of the NFL that can do what he does. Elway, Vick, Cunningham, Tarkenton, McNair, Young, McNabb....just off the top of my head. Wilson is the best mobile QB in the game right now, but these other bad dudes would like a word with you....

Chuck, you would have no self esteem if you didn't scour the Internet looking to make enemies and belittle others. I feel sorry for you. You pathetic little "whoa is me, fk'n baby". If you had a clue, you would know that my life is amazing, to which I live it to the fullest, every single day. You are a mere staple of entertainment, though slight, at best. Step up the game, "B" versions suck. There are two things Stam and I agree on whole heartily: 1) "dont wait til your dying, to make the decision to start livin'" 2) There are two types of people in this world. Those who wish, and those who "do". Now learn a few and stop acting like a little biotch. Make a choice ... because nobody is gonna make it for you Now back to regular programming ... The chickens win by 3 this weekend. The fish should have a new and "improved" attitude and hopefully get back on track, though I wouldn't be surprised if they let Tannehill take a few more "grow up pains"......... Maybe you live life to the fullest but you still stir [Bleeeeep!] up online like a bored little boy. I wonder why? And I don't think "whoa is me" at all. you put that twist into my post because you are a sad man and you think everybody else is worse off than you. You are the guy who claims he knows how to live life better than everyone else except Stam and you pretty much said that yourself. What a load of horse [Bleeeeep!].
