I can't really identify the exact reason why, but man...I cannot stand Dick Vitale. It's always been that way, since I was a kid, and I swear he gets more annoying every single day.
I'm watching a great college ball game right now, Maryland (12) at Michigan State, and the game is in OT right now, 51-52 Maryland with 2:07 left...and I had to turn the sound off so I wouldn't have to listen to that bloviating dimwit shoot off his piehole anymore.
I want to reach thru the TV and slap him right on top of his bald and empty head.
Am I the only one? I know it's kinda blasphemous to not kneel at the altar of Dickie V...but I think he is ten times more of a douchebag than Jim Harbaugh is, and I think Harbaugh is a pretty considerable douchebag.

Not much of a fan of Dickie V's. I can take him or leave him.
I do like a lot of the work he does in regards to charities.
The guy I really don't like is Jay Bilas. I know he played for Duke, but his arrogant Duke and his east coast bias drive me crazy.

I don't like Duke, but everytime I hear Vitale say "Dukies!" I really want to backhand him.
Same with "Diaper Dandies!" and any other number of stupid Dickie V. signature sayings.

I can't take too much of Dick V either. His heart is in the right place, but his shtick jumped the shark ages ago. The absolute best announcer IMO is Gus Johnson.
