I saw the pic of this masher after he got stuck last fall. Gives me hope!

Ike - did you scrape the velvet or cure it on the rack?

Nick, I'm having a "hair on" mount of just the antlers on a plaque...taxi said he would be able to save the velvet, but we'll see.

Here are a couple of shots we got of him on July 6th when he was still ambulatory. After that day we did not see him again until the day before the opener in September. Out of the four legal bucks we saw around my cabin last summer he was the one I really wanted. Not a monster by any means, just a cool "character" rack.

You sure that the dead buck is the same as the third picture? Looks like the first tine, especially on the right antler, was at least clubbed if not going to fork. In the dead one it looks like it comes to a point. Never heard of antlers regressing after growing.

Yea it's the same one. Those two weird in lines on the left side with a hard to see kicker on the right side is, ah yea, pretty unique.

That's the same buck in all the pics... Can't wait to see the plaque, T...
