I hope they put up 300' of silt fence on both sides of the river, had to fill the machines with vegetable oil, and needed to file a spill prevention plan.
Almost typical they did it during the wild fish run.
I can see the stationary orange vests from here.
Not a one moving.
Probably looks like someone lost a contact.
Everyone standing around.
The problem isn't over spending.
The problem is doing nothing with the money they over spend.
This isn't too far off the truth. On wendsday I watched DOT show up with an excavator and about 8 people. One operator working and the rest stood around for about an hour while he proceed to try and spin the log to free it from the pillar. Total waste of money and resources and its all on video. Needless to say, they gave up and came back about an hour later with a section of cable with what looked to be some grapple deal on it and proceeded to try that method, EPIC FAIL once again. So, im glad to see they got it out Thursday with a crane, but it has been there since early December, so that was long overdue and it took them 7 circle jerkers and an operator 3 attempts to get it done, wasting 3 times the amount of money it would have took to do it right the first time, let alone sending 8 guys to do a 2 or 3 man job. Complete bullsh!t!
