I was driving through Portland the other day rocking Whole Lotta Rosie from the If You Want Blood album with the windows downs - people in 3 different rigs hollered out and gave me thumbs up.
It's funny how many people love AC/DC - all ages, too.
The best song ever! Probably the best guitar solo by Gilmore starting at the 5:50.....really touches the soul. What I would have given to be in Poland for this concert.

This tune has it for me in 3 categories ~ Best guitar/bagpipe duet in rock, good tune that tells a story that most folks can relate to on some level & the bagpipes give your tweeters a good workout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDCs7ijNUVM

I like a lot of AC/DC's tunes, of course...but a couple really stick out in my mind. I know they aren't secret squirrel picks or obscure choices, but I have my reasons
Here are my two favorites, and I chose them because I have been fortunate enough to see AC/DC live a few times, and these are my two favorites to be in the crowd to hear and see...
The crowd really gets into Dirty Deeds...probably because it has a good sing-a-long
My second choice..
For Those About to Rock is my second choice for a couple of reasons...one, it was the final song they played the first time I saw AC/DC, and they have fuckin cannons on stage.
Fuckin cannons.
After seeing AC/DC a few times in my younger heavy metal days I took a few years off of heavy metal shows, and then in college saw them again up in Vancouver...fuckme, I forgot how damn loud they are! My ears were ringing for three days.

Also...Bon Scott v. Brian Johnson.
Really? If you have to have an argument about that then you have too much time on your hands.
No one will ever be Bon Scott...ever...but Brian Johnson may be the best "second singer" that a band has ever put up on stage. He does Bon's songs well, and does his own songs well...and is great on stage.

I forgot about this one.one of my faves too.

WDFW - It's not often that I'd wouldn't dog a guy for mentioning Nickleback in the same thread as AC/DC but you redeemed yourself as you're taking your son fishing. Good for you.

I watched a show about what the members of AC/DC do when they're not rocking - Brian Johnson likes to race cars. He tows his around behind his modest motorhome.
He was at a race when one of his competitors blew his engine up, and didn't have the scratch to rebuild it or buy another one, so he was going to drop out of the competition.
Miraculously, a crate showed up at the guy's trailer the next day with a new engine in it. Brian scored the guy an engine, and refused any thanks for doing it.
AC/DC not only plays great music, they are great people - 'cept Phil Rudd will have you killed if you piss him off.

I always wondered why Danny had such love affair with AC/DC... but in actuality it all makes sense. Brian Johnson bottoms out at a staggering 5'5" and at 5'2" Angus has to duck his head walking through the door... the doggy door that is...

I loved AC/DC before I knew I was going to be sawed off. I was actually taller than most kids when I bought Powerage - my first AC/DC album.
Maybe that's why I STILL love AC/DC, though. Sawed off fu.ckers that rock their asses off.
