yes absolutely . However I think statistically the real bad guys are a small percentage of the 5% let's concentrate on them. What I Oppose is the police treating everyone like a 5%er until we can prove otherwise. No I said I have never been in situation where a fire arm would have helped the situation. The situation in oly was escalated because a gun was present. I seriously doubt the officer would have confronted the two with out a weapon. He most likely would have followed them and waited for help.

You may be right FP but this sums up the thought process. It's like checking off the criteria that allows you to shoot vs looking for a way not to shoot. Most psychopaths have a manifesto that justifies their actions before they take them. Eerily similar.

The brothers escalated the shoplifting to assault when they threw beer bottles at the Safeway employees, and then again when they attacked the officer. They were the ones who made that choice. Not the officer.

Bryson Chaplin has 3 criminal issue that aren't juvenile since 8/18/2014. Andre Damon Thompson has at least 6 since 8/22/2012. A number of their offenses occurred on the same date, so it isn't their first time acting as a criminal team.

So sad.
