We also have to remember PC/JS built this team through the draft like all great franchises do. We will be battling for the NFC for years to come.

The #Seahawks and CB Jeremy Lane have agreed to terms on a 4-year deal, source said.

Interesting to see Alvin Bailey not get a tender. That's a player I would have thought the Seahawks would want to control.

Really need to pick up at least one free agent offensive lineman even if they re-sign Okung. Sweezy gone. May be forced into using all top draft picks on offensive linemen. Not sure that it is wise to convert defensive linemen into offensive linemen.

Pretty sure were picking a stud DT with the first pick. I would keep Cable out of the war room and pick 2-3 OL with the next picks. At least Rawls has a little more lateral movement than Lynch and is a lot faster...that should help with a bunch of new OL trying to gel.
I hope he falls to us. Can you imagine Bennett,Avril,Rubin,Robinson.

Just saw a piece that suggested that Kam to the Skins is a possibility. Tried to past link here but could not. The trade speculated that we would swap 2nds and get the Skins 4th. This maybe good value for Kam coming off a down year. Thoughts?
I was horribly unimpressed with Kam last year, and I think the entire secondary had an off year because of him (and, of course, that free agent mistake). Unless Kam promises no hold out and no shenanigans this off season, I am in favor of trading him now, while he has value. Otherwise, there is a good chance he gets cut before the season.

After his lone start, Carroll said one of the big takeaways from the game was that the Seahawks learned that Glowinski could play for them.
“He stood his ground really tough and showed how physical he was,” Carroll said. “So, there’s just everything positive about it. We know he’s a tough guy. We just wanted to see if he would be settled down and play, and he had no problem doing that.”

In my opinion, Chancellor looked old and slow last year. He was getting abused by tight ends while in coverage. Maybe it was the fact that he missed training camp but I think his physical style of play is taking a toll on him. It is always better to trade or cut a guy a year too early then to be in a position where they'd don't have any tread left on the tires. It will be interesting to see what the Hawks do with him. SF

Well the theory of saving money on the O line via a scrambling qb and a bruising rb didn't quite pan out last year. Got us to the playoffs thanks to Tom Cable and a coming of age of Russell Wilson. Hurts to say, but hope we keep Okung and get another lineman, somehow some way. Maybe dangle Cam for a lineman and come up with different coverages for TE's. How about pull some magic outta the draft for the D?
How many times do I have to say, the Hawks will use their first pick on this DEEP DT draft. That's why Mebane is gone.

I'm always right when it comes to the Hawks, you should know that by now.

Hawks interested in another defensive lineman Cam Thomas and offensive lineman Ted Larsen. Okung is looking at the Loins and the Midgets.
Sounds like the Hawks made a solid offer to Okung. I hate to think about the money he'll get for being an average at best LT. LT's are like 7 footers in BB they are rare. We do have Gilliam that looked pretty good last year when Okung AKA Glass Man was out. I can go either way on this one, he's just not dependable.

Mabene is gone cause Rubin signed...............Glad Kearse stayed. Yes Sol Duc I'm with ya on a drafting a D-line man or pass rusher. They will get O-line man later on in the draft or pull one from FA. They might draft a RB also.........Good luck,
NFL just announced that the Seahawks will get three comp picks in 2016 Draft.They are a 3rd (97th overall), a 5th (171) and a 6th (215).

Kearse had a great year, and he stopped dropping passes. I believe I heard he had one of the better catch ratios in the NFL.
