They were wrong the first time they proclaimed the end was coming...but I'm sure they're right this time. I bet they are Mike Huckabee supporters, too. World Annhiliated by Fire Today Bummer. I was hoping to go fishing on Friday...maybe I should head out now, maybe I'll have time for a few casts before the End. Fish on... Todd

love dis rain. It will surely bring the attack of da Coho. Word. Also, while there's still plenty of time left in the day for the rapture to begin, if it does, it won't validate these nutjobs' prediction. Despite the outrageous claims of countless false prophets, the Bible very clearly states that NOBODY besides God, Himself will know when that day is upon us. Once again, what appears in the media under the guise of Christian (or any other faith's) ideology, is limited to the fanatical and the outrageous. No wonder so many good people have such unfavorable views of religion. JDC (Jesus Doggone Christ - I can't bring myself to use the more popular, blasphemous alternative).

I have stated this before and I will repeat: I KNOW when the end of the world will come. In 4.5 billion years. The sun will become a red giant, engulf the earth, and you'll all be crispy.
Actually, the Sun will have expanded enough in 2 billion years for the Earth to be toasted, and void of all life. The Sun will consume the Earth in 4.5 billion. Even if humanity figures out how to move to a planet in a different solar system within the Milky Way over the next 2 billion years, at 4-5 billion years the Milky Way Galaxy will be eaten up by the Andromeda Galaxy. (this would be bad for us). So, if there's no warp drive within about 4 billion years every trace of the human race will disappear from existence. All that's providing we don't get whacked by a massive asteroid or meteor in the meantime..

That's some pretty serious global warming there, buddy. Anyway, what's the time frame here? Do we have until midnight? I'm thinking I'd like to hook up with my future ex, have a nice last meal and one last roll in the hay. If we timed it just right that would be one helluva orgasm. Do I have time to drive to Novato (about 25 miles), or should we meet half way? Just have a quiet evening at home with your Cat. :>)

Thought I'd combine two Nutjob Armageddon Updates in one here:
It's 5:20pm, and the world has yet to be consumed by fire. Big surprise, that...though I guess we still have six hours and forty minutes of local time for it to happen.
It's also nearly seven years into Obama's presidency and not only have none of my guns yet to be grabbed...no one else's have, either. Also big surprise, that...though I think it's about to happen, hurry up and call the NRA and ask them which guns to buy all of before they are grabbed.
Those who believe either one of those things would or will happen are equally idiotic.
Fish on...
Todd

The next Doomsday will be the morning after Hillary's election, the next one will be after her re-election, and the third will be following the election of a gay President.
