I have only fished the skok once this year and I didn't see a fish. I am heading down to it again tomorrow to fine the kings. Oh have any of you guys fished it or do any of you know about floating the river? I heard it was easy and I also heard that there was a tree across the river right by the 101 put in. Well, hope to see one of you tomorrow.

Chris, I hit the Skok yesterday and didn't see anything. I talked to a few people up and down it and they said the same. I heard that the Kings are starting to show at hoodsport though, so the Skok fish shouldn't be too far behind. good luck!

Yeah, there was quite a few people on the skok early but most of them left. Hoodsport people use corky and yarn, and buzz bombs. Alot of fish are snagged. I have had a lot of hook ups using the same gear I use for pinks out there, which is a pink crappie jig, with some weight above a leader. just kind of casting it out and swimming it back in. I have limited a few times when no one else caught anything. good luck!

Chris I fished there this mornig very few fish in no one hooked any, there were lots of people fishing. Also about the tree did not see any below the 101 bridge, we fished from 101 down to below lower bridge. The indians are netting using rocks to chase the fish out of logs and into their nets what few are in the river. Good luck floating if you do I did last year and found it better to bank it, just my 2 cents.

Chris, That was not me with the 10 pound fish Friday, however I did land 3 adults and 2 jacks on Friday, down below the bridge and put them all back, nothing Saturday and nothing Sunday. I did see some nice fish caught Sunday on eggs. The game warden made an appearance Sunday afternoon and checked everyones license, looked like he was walking the whole river. Busted one guy for no license and he had a fish on the bank. $150 ticket and made him give his fish away to someone else who had to punch it. He was a pretty cool GW, could have taken all his gear, but was pretty cool and not a jerk at all. Even told the guy that if he brought his license to the judge he would probably just get away with court costs of about $15...that was if he showed a license already purchased, not a newly purchased license. Pretty interesting
