this week started off as a week from hell, so much work to do and not enough time or resources to finish it all... but yesterday I got a request for some marketing graphics that sidetracked me from the grind. There is only one thing that I love more than building models for projects and that is rendering those models into something really cool. Needless to say, I worked thru the night last night applying materials and lighting and producing rendering after rendering until I came up with a few gems that I was happy with...

True, Spanker, but in my case, I'm usually sitting in an office or a meeting room thinking, "Well, how can I get out of here?" I also think I deserve a more beautiful house, but at least my wife's beautiful.

We design mostly waste water plants. The top picture is a sludge screening building. The next is a digester overflow assembly, and the last is a pump station the only part of the pumpstation that is above ground is the square building on top...

That makes sense, thanks for getting the sludge outta the waste stream! We need more of you guys.

Cool you are helping to keep the rivers cleaner with those high tech plants.

I hate pulling up tp on my lines in the rivers and bays!

I Busted my butt over the weekend and produced some renderings of a recent project and I gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out...

This stuff is fun as hell, but damn does it cut in to bedtime!



Ironically, the Architect couldn't produce a rendering for the client, but the Piping Designer could. I guess that is why we're paid the big bucks...

I think job satisfaction usually includes a dose of that "no pain, no gain" stuff. It's nice to have a job where Monday mornings aren't dreaded.

Damn fine work there Piper....it seems more and more people are asking for your talents, even on more-boring civil projects
