My God. What a bunch of self-righteous sissies. What we have developing here is called a rivalry, and it's one of the things that make sports fun to watch. Embrace it, people! I think we should start a new petition to ban all fans that take opposing players' antics personally from being fans... to salvage whatever's left of our respectability as fans.

Lot's of teams need safeties, we have two pretty good ones behind Kam. We should get a 3-4 rounder for Kam.

Close. There is a new petition going around to prevent Seahawks fans from creating petitions (for real).

Close. There is a new petition going around to prevent Seahawks fans from creating petitions (for real). That is some fans. As a Hawks fan since the 90s, I find myself getting more and more annoyed with the new fans. Some of them are so dumb it makes my head hurt. A lot of them seem to have never played sports nor followed sports ever in their lives and they are making us all look bad. I fuckin hate Cam but so what, I hate lots of athletes and other folks, that's normal for most people and most people don't make petitions about it. Nor even think about it. These new fans are [Bleeeeep!] pussys and whiners.

Nice...turned the game on just in time to see Russell throw a 61 yard pass. Was that his first play of the game?

They don't allow any stunts or blitzes on D, so they might as well let the Niners offensive players play.

Blitzes or no...he's 4/6 for 92 yards and two TDs in his first two drives...not too bad.

Improved or a step back (Hawk players last year) Input.....
Improved: Bruce Irvin - Rounded out as a nice every down linebacker this year and is no longer a situational pass rusher.
Gary Gilliam - Seemingly the only offensive lineman that improved this year.
Cassius Marsh - I'm not really sure if he improved or if he just made more of an impact because he stayed healthy, but he definitely made a lot of nice plays, considering the limited time he was on the field.
Deshawn Shead - Kind of the same situation as Marsh.. Not sure if he actually improved or just got more opportunities this year.
Jeremy Lane - Legitimate starter that compliments Sherman well. Not sure if he improved or we just didn't realize how good he was until we had Cary Williams to compare him to.
Luke Willson - I must say... He's really starting to look like a legitimate starter at TE when he's healthy. Seems like his blocking improved a lot and his hands improved a lot this year.
Doug Baldwin - Yes... He actually got better this year. It wasn't a matter of him getting more opportunities or being more of a focus for the offense. He had a better feel for the coverages, a better understanding of where he needed to be to get open and his hands were golden this year. His mental understanding of the game went to a whole other level this year.
Step Back: Richard Sherman - Still played excellent, but he wasn't the same shutdown guy he was last year. A few mental lapses and he seems to have lost a step when it comes to closing on the ball.
Kam Chancellor - A lot of mental errors. The hold out definitely had an effect on his game and how he handled switches and assignment responsibility in coverage. Miscommunications were a problem.
Russell Okung - huge regression this year. Physically not the same, slower off the snaps, didn't play disciplined, false starts, holding. He was a hot mess this year compared to past years.
Marshawn Lynch - Clearly regressed this year... no explanation needed.
Russell Wilson - That's right... I said it. He's improved some areas of his game, but I don't think he's managed the game as well as he has in the past and I think his pocket presence has regressed from last year. He just doesn't seem to have a feel for the pocket like he did last year and the year before. He's also not seeing the field as well and trying to force the issue downfield too much, instead of taking the first quick and easy open option he gets. He's held onto the ball too long and tried to force a play, instead of throwing the ball out of bounds. IMO, he's actually regressed from the QB he was last year. Our O-Line didn't help his cause, but a lot of bad plays have been the result of him trying to force the issue and do too much when he should've just taken what was given to him or threw the ball away.
The rest of the players were stagnant... They didn't really improve, but they didn't take a step back either. They just continued to do what they do and be what they are.

The dude went from 8th in the league with a 70.7 total QBR in 2014 to 4th in 2015 with a 74.9 total QBR. That's a semi-large delta and moving in the right direction.

Sol Duc actually typed out the words, "I had no idea Marcus Peters was that good."
Safe to say I don't bother reading any of his drivel, especially regarding player personnel!

Not to take away from the important vaginal fact above but I hope the Seahawks took notice of what real pass rushers look like in SB 50.
All the second half of their season the Hawks pass rush was handled.
If they had guys getting to the other teams QB they would have been playing in SF.
Period.

When Bruce Irvin was talking hometown discount, I didn't think he was talking the kind of numbers he was talking. “Pete and John asked me that when I met with them today. If it came to that, I would definitely come back. $3, $4 million? $3, $4, $5 million? I would definitely come back because I’m established here." http://www.givemesport.com/693118-bruce-...FacebookOrganicIf I'm JS & PC, I respond to the top here here at 5 million per year on a 5 year deal, get him excited about being in Seattle and get him to forfeit any idea of entertaining offers from other teams in free agency. Throw some incentives in, so he could make 6-7 million a year if he's performing above expectations. We expected to be competing with offers of around 7-9 million a year, but if he's willing to stay at that kind of discount... I think you have to pull the trigger on him and keep him in Seattle.

When he said he'd take a discount of "3, 4, 5 Million" I sincerely doubt he meant per year, and I'm pretty sure he meant over the live of a five year deal.
Like 5 years, $42Million to stay, versus 5 years, $45Million to play somewhere else.
No way in hell he is taking a 20-25 million dollar discount.
Fish on...
