Well who knew Iran would use the billions obongo freed up to buy weapons? If you can't trust a goatfukker who can you trust? http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/02/16/...ml?intcmp=hpbt1While a defensive “ground-to-air” weapons system such as the S-300 is exempt from U.N. Resolution 2231, the ban explicitly forbids “battle tanks, armored combat vehicles, large-caliber artillery systems, combat aircraft, attack helicopters, [and] warships…” from being purchased by Iran without prior approval from the U.N. Iran is looking to buy Russia's most capable tank, the T-90, as well as modern Su-30 Flanker fighter jets, Dehqan has said.

That's WWII.927.
I can't imagine a worse disappointment in a prepper's life than to die before Armageddon comes...how sad to spend your whole life afraid out of your skull of the Apocalypse, preparing to survive it, and then the world just does normal schit your whole life, and then you die.

Or we decided if Iran continued to kill ISIS fighters we would allow them to buy weapons and Boeing jets.
And while we are at it we should thank Russia for bombing the ISIS fuel depots and convoys. Why do you think Turkey shot down their plane?
If ISIS is the enemy than Russia, Iran and Iraq are our allies.
If Syria/Assad is the enemy then Al Quida, ISIS, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia are our allies.
Which is why I support the Kurds. They are the only ones fighting for their freedom by killing ISIS.

Well the media blackout has started to lift and you are starting to get an idea of where our country is leaning.....
It looks like we are looking at supporting the Suni's and not the Shiats, since the news seems to be educating the public in a way to give them the impression that Russia is killing civilians and bombing hospitals. I guess we will see what happens in the next few days and if our country is going to make any real commitments.
If we deploy troops into Syria we will be fighting the Russians, neither side will submit to the other Im afraid.

Looks more to me that we signed this treaty with Iran so they could get their 150 billion in war funds, probably so the war will be more entertaining on TV. It's obvious they are using the money to fuel their war machine.

The one player everyone here is forgetting about, just the way they like it, is France.
One day Assad is the enemy. The next day Paris is attacked. The next day ISIS is the enemy. The next day Russia is involved. And a week later ISIS has no more oil thanks to Russian bombs. And now Suadi Arabia is threatening to invade Syria. Somewhere amongst all of this the U.S. and Iran make piece.
I haven't read this anywhere but my armchair analysis has determined France's hands are all over this. And they told both Russia and America that Sunni extremism is done. Over. Dead. Buried. Just like Somali Pirates (who are now picking apples in Brewster BTW). And Russia and America can play their nation building and arms selling games once Sunni extremism is done. Over. Dead. Buried.
And if that means Turkey and Saudi Arabia no longer exist than so be it. Which is why they are both freaking out and doing everything they can to make sure America does not sit this one out.
In short recent events lead me to believe that France told America to sit this one out. And Obama, to his credit, decided it's best to sit this one out. Which I totally agree with.
So no, I do not believe this is the start of WWIII. Just the end of Saudi Arabia!!!
Which would be a good thing for the world. Remember France is a whole lot better at this sh!t then either America or Russia!

Yeah, I'm gonna' cheer for the Kurds. Who doesn't like a freedom fighter? We're gonna' have a tailgate at a staff retreat/workshop, and we're supposed to wear out favorite team gear. Anyone know where I could find a Kurd uniform jersey? A good friend that did construction contract work in Iran, found that the Kurds were the most reliable group over there. For a foreman, you wanted a Kurd.

Brood buster makes a lot of sense..... The united States has made very little comment and no action on this, yet Saudi and Turkey seem to be bluffing on the sense that they can force the US to engage with Russia (which is the only possible way they could challenge the Russians). Problem for the Suni's is the US is not doing what they thought. It's almost like it was a double-cross, because the Turks and Saudis sure seemed confident but no action by the US?.
Suni's do seem to be the most extreme of the bunch. Overall the Shiats seem to cause less trouble.
Other than persuade the US to sit this one out what does France do?

Bomb hospitals for one . Hospitals and schools are always a great place for your command and control when your enemy lives in a political world. France doesn't live in that political world. They never hold news conferences and pander for votes. They just kill people. And If that includes some doctors without borders so be it. That just makes them more effective. Again I haven't read this anywhere but one hospital can easily be a mistake by either Russia or America. It happens. But it sounds like several hospitals where taken out which smells of France to me. And I see France has extended their state of emergency for another several months. So it seems to me that France is still enemy #1 as far as ISIS is concerned. Sucks when the rules of engagement change mid war. Unless, of course, you're the one changing those rules.

A couple of important points that seem to have been overlooked in this discussion. Turkey is a NATO nation, if attacked all NATO nations are bound to defend Turkey. Way back when Saudi Arabia nationalized the oil industry, we,the USA entered into an agreement to guarantee their defense in return for a stable supply of oil. We are tied to both these countries whether we like it or not.

Yes Turkey is NATO and we have an agreement with Saudi, but if they shoot first and prevoke retaliation I don't think we have to come to their aid. We still may but I don't think we have to.
I think that France is working with the Russians currently so that's probably why we are not hearing about them...

Both the Turks and Saudis are saying they wouldn't go into Syria without the US in the lead at this point in time but anything can happen in this mess. With all the factions involved it must be hard to tell who's shooting at who: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_armed_groups_in_the_Syrian_Civil_War

A better question is this:
Rich G., how is every single one of your dire predictions and Bigfoot proof plans going, from every single post you have made here in the past four years?
I know it won't bother you...because that's how fruitcakes are...but so far you are batting exactly zero, not one single one of your "big" announcements has happened, anywhere, at all.
None.
Can't wait to see you post a few more.
Fish on...

Looks like we might blow sh!t up with these just sent to Qatar... Nice lookin' ship even though it was designed to kill. Might bag a few Russkies when they let loose if they're in the wrong part of town. Maybe it will be Putin's turn to complain.
