That was comedy gold.
Yep.

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

I like how messico is using the Pope as a pawn. He needs to stfu and stay out of politics. Probably just pissed he wasn't given a young boy for his stay last night.

How do you know that ? I'm sure a lot of the Kids that were and being molested thought their Priest/Pastor was a good guy.

You would have to be a serious dipshit (aka, Donald Trump, Sol Duc) to argue with this...in my lifetime I have never seen another Pope, or any other Christian religious leader, for that matter, not only preach actual Christianity, but call out those hypocrites who talk about it, but act in direct contravention of it.
I would ask why the Pope, or any religious leader should "Stay out of politics"? Religion, among other things, is supposed to offer a guide as to how one should live. I would expect them to clearly say that, "According to our holy writings and traditions, this is how one should act if one calls themselves "X".
I don't have to agree with what they say, but if I call myself an X or Y then I should follow the precepts. And if makes me uncomfortable to follow those teachings then perhaps I am not one.

Fish on...

Only because he's a flaming liberal as Popes go. Doubt you would defend any of the other Popes. .02

Pope tells Trump building walls 'not Christian' on the way back to a walled-in Vatican.

What he is, is a flaming Christian...actually espousing things that Christ did, rather than just espousing loudly that he is indeed a Christian, while doing nothing at all even remotely Christ-like.
The fact that true Christianity and liberal ideology are pretty much exactly the same is not the fault of me, or the Pope...the words of the Bible are pretty [Bleeeeep!] clear, and bear a marked non-resemblance to the entire GOP platform.
Socialism has been tried a few times and has never been that successful. Myself, I kinda miss the system that rewards innovators. Whatever, commies for 2016.

The amount of stupid required to think anything other than Trump is "socialism" is considerable...about the same amount required to think that Democratic Socialism is Communism.
Don't they even teach rudimentiary civics or political science in junior high and high school any more?
Since when did being an "intellectual" and knowing things become an elitist proposition to be shunned, while being an ignoramus and fool but "speaking your mind" is something to be celebrated?

Gosh gee whiz Todd, since when?
It's funny but you sound a bit like Trump.
