Does anyone know of an Online Canadian Tackle Shop (easier that way)...or a Tackle Shop in Canada that I could do some price checking with???

Hey...the way I figure it...with the exchange rate...I could save a bunch of $$$ on some of the big ticket items I want for my boat!

Broke the Chinook slump (kind of) last night. We were fishing area 10 just off Meadow Point. Got 3 out of 4 lines down, and before I could get the herring on #4 we were on about a 12 - 15 pounder. Of course we let him go. No silvers last night. Oh yeah, he hit a #3 blue point defiance spoon 18 inches behind a 0/0 flasher. It was on the lightest gear we had down, too. What a blast.

Try "Barry's Bait and Tackle" at www.berrysbait.com. They are easy to buy from and you can't beat the prices when you factor in the exchange rate.

If you are looking at Scotty Electric Downriggers, Tyee Marine (not Tyee Tackle) in Campbell River BC had an even better price on downriggers when I was shopping. Something about Campbell river being 90% fishing guides so they sold just above cost.

And if you want a good laugh, go to EBAY and see how badly people are getting ripped off on electric downriggers.
