Anybody fish the harbor and/or Chehalis on the opener today? Don't have to give away secrets, just would appreciate if anyone got a feel for if the fish are in....see many nets flying? Fish jumping? What general areas?

As always, any info. is appreciated.

I was all over the place today looking and talking to people didnt see a fish or hear of any being caught. Went to 28th street and the fish checker girl hadnt seen a fish all day this had to be around 2:00pm. Ran into alot of freinds who were giving it a go and they didnt see anything either. I think its a little early yet. (I Hope)

Hey guys....got one and lost one about high slack...lots and lots of fish on the finder if those are salmon you had better be there when they decide to bite!

Checked the Chehalis at Monte, Zip. Fished Willapa Bay on Saturday saw two caught. Might be a little early.

Fished up in the Willapa river on Saturday and heard of 2 caught for probably 20 boats, both a little colored. Then went to the Chehalis and got one about 15lbs. Saw four caught right at low slack, all within about 20 minutes of eachother. Three were colored and one was bright. Sunday we trolled the Johns river area and I picked up one chrome 42lb. buck and we saw 3 others caught by around noon. Seems to just be a little early. All the fish caught off of Johns river were quality fish, 30-40lbs.

Went over the Grays Harbor Bar 2 days ago on our way up to Destruction Isle. and saw over 30 fish jump at the top of the tide. Talked to several guys who hooked good fish on the incoming the previous day...95% hatchery silvers.
