Fished the Sky today. It came up quite a bit from all the rain but it is on its way back down now. At least until the next rainstorm hits. Fished way, way, way up in the system and it was slow with only one fish hooked.

Picked up a few SRC's and a couple dollies floating from sultan to lewis st. When we went and pickup the truck a guy pick up a 14lbs buck from the cracker bar. Not many people fish it only one sled. Was a nice change of pace from the combat fishing for salmon thats going on.

Tight lines

River went up a little bit from rain over the weekend. Fish are starting to show up in better numbers.

Sky-Guy, I have been pulling small plugs and fishing small baits in the morning. I only fish 4 hours at a time due to my schedule. One day they're there and the next day they're not. Seems like I do good every other day.

Griz,
Are you getting your fish at reiter? Was fishing above reiter today and saw some fish roll, looked like silvers.

Bank Walker, I have been fishing out of a drift boat down river. There are numerous salmon in the river now. I keep hitting silvers on what I've been throwing for steelies, and it's been hard to get around them. I don't fish Reiter much if I can help it.

The Sky is closed for Salmon, until Chum season, but you can fish steelies for nearly 9 months or more every year. The Silvers are thickening up to the Wallace Flats, and Griz I have had the same problem. Is the river coming up at all ?

I am going out to fish 8.2 tomorrow, anyone else been doing well out on the sound? Some buddies of mine and I have limited twice this week, fishing at 30 feet until two hours after sunrise, then down to 60-90ft. Using solid pearl or green hoochies. If you go out, fish the deep water, out in the shipping lanes.
