With all the talk about Kings and Coho, I thought I'd throw out a reminder that the summer run fishing has been very good. My favorite river down south has provided non stop action this summer, and I have had success up at the headworks on the Green lately after reading posts here. The best part is ......no crowds! Good Fishing!

HI, I WAS JUS WONDERING HOW FAR IS THE HEADWORKS FROM FLAMING GEYSER? IVE NEVER FISHED UP ANY FARTHER THAN THAT AND FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN THAT RIVER ISNT WORTH FISHING UNLESS THERE IS BETTER WATER UP RIVER? SPILL THE BEANS BUDDY BOY..LOL I WANT TO GO STEALHEADING, THERE SUCH A BLAST.. ***SCHITZO***

The headworks is above Palmer Kanasket State Park. The road is marked and goes up the South side of the river. There are several good spots to fish along the road, as well as above the gate at the end of the road. Good Fishing!

Schitzo just go up hiway 410 to Enumclaw and turn left at the pickle factory (charlies reseraunt is just across the street)follow the road and just past the palmer state park the headworks road will be on your right.
