Salmo - I'll do it. Seriously. And per my lifetime personal policy, I do manual labor, yard and field work in exchange for the pleasure. I'm deathly allergic to cut hay, but I've filled up barns upon barns of that crap for the opportunity to hunt Pheasants and Geese in Nebraska. Mended fences and cut trails for Elk and Mulies in Colorado. Etc. Etc. Let me know what you need done and its done.
For your immediate BT problems, just buy some Predator or Coyote urine and pour some on every fence post you got. Do it once a month or after extended periods of rain.
I'm going to see if I can get one more season out of my knees and then get something done as soon as next season ends. Its too late this year and I'm not going to miss next fall. Poor Todd. The things I have planned for us just aren't right in the head.

As I've said, pardner, I am old and lazy, not unable. I'm still in better shape than most of my contemporaries who are ten years younger, as you know, but that doesn't mean I still like climbing a fuckin mountain so I can carry a damn animal on my back for ten miles. Not saying I won't do it, but I *thought* I had given that schit up years ago Fish on... Todd

Man...winter sucks without fishing around here. I've been bit by the bug hard and have Blacktail on the brain 24/7 now. Scoping, planning, prodding, scheming, prepping, reviewing, re-reviewing, spending, building et al. and I'm still behind schedule for next season. Make it stop. Also, I need new knees. Have had my new knees for 5 years

Steep n' deep and up on the high. Don't worry Todd, it'll be FUN! I don't even have a general doc, I just know my knees suck and I should probably have em' checked out. I broke the head off my Tibia back in 2002. Jacked the Meniscus at the same time too, but elected to not have surgery (just a leg cast fo 6 months). I popped that same knee badly 2 summers ago pushing a dead car. Never went to the doc for that one and let it ride. Mistake. The other knee is a bit better, but still awfully creaky. Arthritis in both. I beat the crap outta em' growing up and now I'm paying for it. The saying is true - getting old ain't for wimps. Anyway...had a tasty BT rump roast, potatos, onions & carrots for dinner tonight. Deelish!

Why do you think I lost 75#'s and hump a 50# pack 2-4 miles every evening after yoga? It's called buying season Nick . I'm set for the backcountry so the only things I'm adding this year are a few more game cameras and a new fishing boat. I haven't decided on which one just yet but I'll be picking up an Alpaca Packraft shortly. I do miss fishing and paddling around alpine lakes seems like a good way to fill the void. I'll be in touch when buying season rolls into hiking/scouting season.

Yep - congrats BB on your weight loss. Keep at it. You looked really healthy last time we saw each other and I know you've worked hard to get into shape. I'm strongly considering starting Yoga to help with stretching, muscle recovery and general peace of mind. I'm getting prepped now for putting miles on boots ASAP.
