That's actually a fair price by the time you add everything up.

Heavy Duty Brigadier slide
Checkered A1 frame
etc etc etc

I like that gun, mag release is where it should be.

Growing up in the 80's, I have a special spot for the 92. It's all you ever saw...on the streets, on TV and in the ALL of the action movies. It was THE sidearm of its time. I remember the day my Dad brought his home. I was around 10 - 12 years old and I'd only shot wheel guns up to that point and I thought it was the coolest, most badass thing on the planet. Too bad they never made a .45 acp...I'd be all over it.

Holy Dickheads....which one of you Jokers changed my Avatar sig line? Fvck...I just noticed. How long has it been like this? I can't deny...it is funny.

I have a suspect and I'm currently watching his dogs. Maybe he'll get em' back, maybe I'll keep em' or just maybe they may "wander out my back door". They're chipped...they'll be fine.

Just got it...haven't shot it yet.
The slide is like glass smooth.
Mags have this precision fit to them...hard to describe.
It's a well built firearm. Big, not for weaners with small hands.

That's the early mag release location.
You use your thumb on your weak-side hand....it's not bad.

DD - I've always carried Western style. Who do you recommend for shoulder holsters?

Crap, I dunno.
If you're carrying while hunting, I see that the "chest rig" is popular.
Top of the heap would be... https://www.diamonddcustomleather.com/products/guides-choice-chest-holster
Looks like it would be out of the way for a day pack.

If it's concealed carry, that gets complicated.
Kydex or leather ?
IWB or OWB or SOB ?
Pancake ?
Strong side ?
Cross draw ?
FBI cant ?
Paddle ?
Appendix ?

I just ordered an OWB, cross-draw, snap on.
I can't do IWB....no way.

This is the best buy, hands down for a 1911 pancake...
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/779488/...ent-leather-tan
It's even suede lined with the sweat shield.
I've warmed up to the saddle tan with white stitching look...shows off the saddlemakers craft.
Available in black direct from Ross but will cost much more.

And then there's always Chicago style...

Nice - thanks! Hunting, fishing, hiking and in-field work only. I don't carry in town. That Diamond chest rig is exactly what I'm looking for. I don't like any of the underarm rigs (Galco's etc.). Thanks again DD...

Indeed! Great piece of gear right there. I've got 8 years and a lot of hard miles on mine and it is still going strong. Great product made by great folks. I've had them do a few custom projects for me and their work is outstanding.

Sexyass kimber there Parker. Can I have it when you die?
