I'm still wondering why that buck did a backflip when I shot *at* or *near* it. It's almost like a bullet hit its neck. Eh, guess I was wrong.

On a different but kinda similar note, ran in to some "difficulties" with the new Kimber Mountain Ascent and the 34mm rings and bases Leupold sent me. Apparently Leupy doesn't know what a Kimber 84L action is. Ended up with with a non-level scope that was canted upward. Seeing how I wanted to shoot under 1,000 yards, that wasn't going to work for me. When I say "canted up" I mean the cross hairs were a solid 2' above the target at 200 yards and couldn't go any lower! D'oh!

Gave a call to Tally and while they don't offer a lightweight solution, they do have a base and 34mm ring solution for the 84L. Should be arriving today, installed by this weekend, and hopefully on the range in early Sept.

I'll need a target, so I'll be sure to call. Again, just don't move...and I'll promise to at least bore sight the rifle first.

Keeping with the spirit of this thread “before it hits the fan this October,” I sold off all my stocks first thing this morning due to certain stocks going down after recent positive earnings reports along with ridiculous high multiple valuations.

I hate to admit it but it might happen before October. I know some people that know things and economically things are about to get turned on its head. Valuations of corporations are going to be readjusted soon, layoffs have already started. The stock bubble is about to burst because it's time to take profits. Companies have been using their bank accounts to buy their own stocks in this last runup to "balloon" the valuations. Its all fake and it's getting ready to hit the fan.

Stocks are in a bubble, Real Estate is in a bubble and even Bitcoin is in a bubble. We're fvcked.

You know who loses everything when the [Bleeeeep!] hits the fan? The people who sell everything low. The time to pull out of the stock market is when you are old; hopefully its not a low low moment.

PS. Off this week for an extended "Armed Nature Hike" over in Eastern WA. Ok, some of you call it hunting. Can the end of days wait until I return? I'm not too sure I'd even know the sh#t hit the fan if one is outside of Tonasket.
