Alan Thicke - meh. It's sad he died while playing Hockey with his teenage Son. Past that, the dude offspringed Robin Thicke, so he probably isn't in heaven now.
Earlier today I was thinking it was too bad it wasn't his douche bag kid.

John Glenn is a tough one. His resume and biography is extraordinary. Like Yeager before him, his balls were legendary. NASA had to redo all of their fuel consumption calculations and design special space suits to accomodate his massive balls.

Carrie Fisher almost died a bit ago and is not out of the woods yet. On a flight LAX - London and had a major heart attack 15 minutes before landing. She was brain dead for most of it. Probably deep vein thrombosis and a clot broke free. Take your asprin when flying people!

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

DVT is a real threat. I don't know why airlines don't warn people on long flights against staying seated the whole time.
Afraid of liability if the plane flies into turbulence probably.

Blood clots on older people are probably of more concern.

Blood clots on older people are probably of more concern. Where do you think these blood clots come from? DVT. Older passengers whom sit for too long end up having blood pool in their DVT (usually the lower legs). Once they stand up, the clot breaks off and boom...heart attack. The trick is to wear compression socks, take 1 chewable baby aspirin every 2 hours (blood thinner) and get up and move about the cabin every 1 - 2 hours during long flights (4 - 6 hrs +). Carrie was overweight, had DVT and had / has a very well known and lengthy love affair with cigs, alcohol and piles upon piles of Colombian marching powder. This shouldn't come as a surprise. She's 60 but her body and heart is 80. Sad - she was dead for between 10 - 15 minutes. I doubt her brain will ever recover. The good news is, if she dies - she will become more powerful than you can ever imagine.
