Started Cross Country in High School, ran in college, and have competed ever since. Even at a place as "exclusive" as the UW with scholarship athletes and all welcomed anyone who wanted to train and race. Found races for everybody.

While I was at UCD (68-72) we had a woman train with the CC and Track team. Made the Olympics in '76. We also had a woman play on the JV soccer team, as the men's team was the only one available. You don't have to be troglodytes to be competitive athletes.

Chit is about to go down, before 11/11. The Army is preparing for massive riots throughout the country. At fort Brag they are preparing troops and a massive armada of busses for deployment. People are being warned to get ready by family and friends who know. Sometime on or around 11/3 is what I am hearing. Mass arrests may happen on that day.
