Yes I know I mostly fish the Nooch but with high winds I went to the Sky in search of "DOGS". It did not take that long at all to find out what everyone else was saying is true. We put in at 7 am and was done by 11am..Took out the same spot we put in and did not have to drift more than 100 yards.

Hey Drift Boat, thanks for the info! How'd the river look...was the river high and colored up from last night's rain?

I too fished the Sky today. Saw ALOT of people out, and only saw one scabby chum caught. Rain seemed to raise the river just a little bit. We need a good blast of rain to bring in the last of the Silvers and the first BIG schools of chums.

The river was still low for me but did have some green to it. The Ben Howard area was full of fish but they were not rolling. They seem to be fresh or at least as fresh as they can be for Dogs.

One small silver caught, nice and bright, saw a lot of ugly dogs and not many good enough to smoke. The river is still green but clearing up. It is starting to come up a little from the rain.

Doubletake

First off I'd like to say in this world we often don't give enough complements. Driftboat gets a great big thank you from myself and my 11yo son. I arrived at the launch as Driftboat was pulling out, asking how they did was greeted with (we got our limits on dogs).
Of course the next question was what did you hit them on. Kwickfish was the answer. My next comment was damm I didn't have any with me. Driftboat without even pausing said here take these and here is the sardines to wrap them in.
Driftboat thanks again, and I didn't have the kind of luck or skill that you did but we had a couple of good soild take downs. I need to work on my son being a little to quick on picking up the rods.
