Chair Nunes states a classic case of obstruction is how the over sight committee had to wait until now to get information requested since late last year that is pertinent to their oversight investigation.

There were text and emails held back regarding lead investigator Peter Strzok, for instance an answer to Liza Page question, “Trump’s never is going to become President right? Right?!” Strzok reply,” No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

This is the same Peter Strzok that was assigned in late July 2016 to supervise the FBI investigation of whether the Trump campaign was aiding Russian interference and the same lead investigator on his previous case regarding the Hillary email scandal.

He is the same Peter Strzok that initiated the counterintelligence investigation into Trump-Russian collusion to target the Trump campaign...

Nunes brings up the possibility of the slow walk is to get past the mid elections so they cannot finish their investigation and much more…

I liked Trump's take on the report:

(Closely paraphrasing) It exonerates him completely in the Russia probe, but the IG "blew it."

I'm pretty sure the only thing in that report we didn't already know was the exact phrasing of the Strzok email. For sure, that was REALLY poor form on his part, but it really didn't change the narrative of that email exchange one iota from what it's been for months: an extremely weak assertion that two individuals among tens of thousands of FBI employees behaving like fools taints the entire investigation.

In other news, we now have a "great relationship with North Korea" and Trump wants "his people" to rise in his presence, just like Kim's people do for him. So how about it? Are you guys ready to grovel to a supreme authority or what?

Anyone notice how the guys Trump most wants to emulate are the most despicable despots on the globe? I could be wrong, but I'm not quite sure that's good.

I think it's a GOOD thing Trump is talking with Kim. I think it's a BAD thing that he wants to be like Kim (and Putin, and Castro, and...).

Hank's responses are one of these two:

1. Change the subject, preferably to Hillary or Obama

2. Respond to criticism of Trump with "Yeah, but...."...and then talk about Hillary or Obama, as if somehow Trump doing something stupid is somehow ok if he thinks someone else did it, too.

This is what has replaced critical thought as facts and analysis have been branded as "fake news" by the Magarglers.
