Odd thing...this was a policy enacted by Bush II, continued through
the Obama era, and now being blamed on Trump.

Many of the images they are showing of the kids in lockup on the MSM
are actually from during the Obama Regime.

Truth is, the southern border has been bleeding with illegals from
Mexico and other countries south of there for so long that I'm not sure
there is an acceptable solution remaining. The entire situation sucks
ass and swallows IMHO.

with that said, when have we EVER allowed children to stay with parents while they are in custody? in prison, if a woman has a baby, they get to keep it for 1 year, and then it goes into the hands of DHS.... other than that, children have never been allowed to stay with their parents while incarcerated....

and alot of the children that people are seeing, are victims of sex/human traffic related crimes, who arent even with their parents to begin with....

not one child has been taken from their parents at a legal port of entry while applying for amnesty, the ones that try to sneak through, (usually trafficked, not always however) are the ones that are detained until deportation... that is a choice they made, they knew the consequences, yet still chose to do it (minus being forced)....

theres a reason they dont want to do it legally... theres also a reason they want to come here, and its not because of violence... its because of money, and it always has been....

simple fact of the matter, is that the US has never allowed children to live with parents while incarcerated, which would be incarcerating the children regardless.... people that cross that border illegally know what they are doing, they know exactly what will happen if they get caught, yet now theres an outrage?

Idiot Senate Dems lead by Dianne Feinstein have all signed onto a bill that would make it illegal to separate kids from FELONY parents within 100 miles of the border.

Justification for having kids if I ever heard one...

1) 2/3rds of US population lives within 100 miles of a border
2) 100 miles includes all "ports" regardless of location in the US. Salt Lake City is an immigration port for example
3) The bill DOES NOT distinguish between illegals and US citizens

Feinstein has more in common with Trump than we might have guessed. They both shoot from the hip, acting on impulses, and showing no capacity for critical thinking or other positive thought processes. Best not to paint with the brush of stereotyping. Just as not every conservative is a whack-a-doodle extremist, not every Democrat is "coming to get yer guns."

President Donald Trump signs executive order on immigration to keep families together which has beset other administrations for many decades. He said there will still be zero tolerance on illegal entry into the country, and expects those wanting to enter the country to do so at port of entry to start the process.

He wants this executive order to be a stop gap measure until a comprehensive bill that is in the works goes through congress addressing all the border/immigration problems of the present and past administrations running for decades, so this is finally done right once and for all.

With our President signing his Executive Order today, it has become obvious that this whole deal, described as being the Democrat's fault, Obama, Bush, yada yada yada, was nothing more than a ploy to get Congress to fund the wall using these kids as pawns. Golddigger, Let's see, Trump creates the problem (zero tolerance policy) announced in April. Then he says that he can't do anything about it, only Congress can. Then he blames Obama, Bush, Clinton - this whole thing can't be his fault! And then he signs an EO to solve the problem he created. And some people now say "Don't twist this into something bad". Unfreaking believable. It is time to wake up Sheeple!!!

The separation of families and the treatment of children was not a problem for any previous administration, for whatever reason it was not a problem. This group turned it into front page news around the world. They own it. And they constantly said that it was done to force Congress to act.

It really would be nice to find some way to make Congress act. I did notice, though, that the House was considering two options. There intent was to move one forward but only of it would pass without and D votes. Rather than working for a solution they continue the practice of single party rule that has bedeviled us for decades.

Seems to me all they do is pass a budget so they can get paid and then bitch about POTUS acting like a king or not acting like a king depending on whether POTUS is or is not doing Congress’s job.

Until Congress understands that those on the other side of the aisle are the opponent and the WH is the enemy we are screwed.
