ive either been grilling or using the Sous Vide machine... ran into another problem today, the heating element of our oven burnt out  Katie uses it every day, closest i can get the one i ordered is the 19-20th.... what did i do to deserve my oven heating element to burn out? this only happens to people like me.... or, sh!t happens and you just deal with it.....

Kale? Chili? Rookies. My barbecue and smoker are positioned 15 feet from my stove. My barbecued salmon, jalapenos-goat cheese-bacon wraps, beer batter tempura onion rings, and secret teriyaki/honey sauce chicken drumettes are incredible.
I can fry fresh caught kokanee on a wood stove and you'll think you went to heaven.

I'm sure Stam is singin' the blues as well. You're right. That was just mean. You're in! We have a freakin' Husky Ice Sculpture for EVERY game! The dude who makes this every week has every single (old school) Pac-12 helmet that he brings for the visiting team. He's insane. Ok, why there are no holes drilled in it for iced shots is still way beyond me.....I should bring a drill. Ice sculptures!  Oh, and Rico and Jen have stopped by twice. That alone is worth the price of admission! Stam's lovely wife is invited, of course. Stam, bring some of your smoked fish and you're in too! Okay, a few more words.
Soak the kale in olive oil, coat it in salt, cook it in the oven on a cookie sheet until it's crunchy, eat it, it's good, and....it's actually a nice way to get your sodium levels up where they belong.
...or just buy some f'n potato chips.
f' kale. I've heard they're pretty good.

yeah i know about BBQing it, figured broiling it would hammer the top of it....
theres a place about 30 minutes from here in Eatonville, called Bertoglios, the reviews are great as well, kinda expensive tho...
small dinky little place the size of a large shed... gonna try it soon..

Nice set-up Parker! Last time I saw that matchup was in 89', my freshman year at the UW. 1st game I ever attended if I remember right, but who the fuk knows as it was a week or 2 before school started so it was "work week" on the defunct frat Theta Xi.
Dawgs got crushed, but we were so wasted nobody cared. We smuggled in jello shots, among other care packages of booze and beer. Was a hot day, and the jello shots melted fast, so we were basically drinking warm red-colored cheap vodka nestled in aluminum foil. Oh, to be young again! Wait...I still do chit like that on occasion!!!

read up on the broiling pizza thing, interesting, i might try to make a deep dish some day doing it....
asshole Home Depot said when i ordered it that the element would be here on the 19-20th, so i got it.... now it wont be here till the 25th smh....
asshole bank wont give me my fvckin money back either, yet, or whatever smh....
can the same method be used with a pizza stone for broiling?
the method i read was use a cast iron pan upside down, and put it on broil for 20 minutes to heat the pan, then put the pizza on the pan bottom and cook it for a few minutes....
or does a stone not hold heat as good as the cast iron? will it crack the stone?
