Things started off not too bad Friday morning, till I went out to my work van and discovered that some low life S.O.B. had cleaned me out all my power tools along with some very personal stuff that belonged to my late father( I can't replace this
To make matters worse I check out my pick-up...ditto cleaned out down to the change in the ashtray that means 2 rods and reels and a ton of tackle .
Next they hit the wifes Jeep took stupid stuff like her school bag and such
So took the day off ,had to wait for the locks smith to re-key the house ,Jeep etc.(they took my set of keys,
We moved to country to avoide this, we never use to lock our rigs ,heck I leave my keys in the work van....not again
good thing ,they tried to hit my neighbors house early saturday night, they tripped the alarm never got a look at them ,they better hope I never do...took the plug outa the shotgun,if their too far away ,that's when we bring out the .06
we fired the dog she sleeps too sound

so I guess I'm starting basicly from scratch....already replaced one reel ....THIS BITES

Careful, Osprey. I got my cars broken into three times in a month and a half last year. The side windows were broken on them twice. the police said it was the same people. I gave the idea of steel rods in wet ground and 220 volts some real though. (JK) but it sure sounded good at the time.

Osprey, sorry to hear that. I read in the Daily Zero that there has been a rash of car prowls in the Oly/Lacey area. If possible, send me a description of your gear and I will keep my eyes open.

Osprey,

I clicked on your post thinking I was going to read about a lousy fishing weekend, like I had. Very sorry to hear about your misfortune. Nothing bites more than being ripped off! Especially sorry to hear about the keepsakes. I know it must gall the hell out of you. Again, sorry to hear of it. Tad

I feel for ya, Bro. Happened to me in '91.
Officer I talked to said I should engrave my gear with an electric pencil. If it's recovered, at least they are identifiable.
Low-lifes suck.

OS,
That is bad news man. Keep an eye out, idiots like this usually come back for seconds. Be careful, nothing is worth your own safety or the safety of your family.
We need to hook up again soon
