Just wondering if anyone has been doing any razor clam digging? The family is planning on going somewhere the day after Thanksgiving.

I have gone quite a bit during the last two openings. The clams in the Twin Harbors area have been bigger. The best clams have been just past the shrimp beds. I also have been digging 2-21/2 hours before low tide. Good luck! I may go tomorrow. If the north beaches are open in the Copalis region I may go there. I like the scenery there a lot better. Good Luck!!!

Washington digging??? Phooey. With the help of some friends, I brought home over 1800 clams from Alaska ... some as large as 9 inches across the shell (not counting the neck). Lots of chowder and clam fry's this winter!

C'mon now your compary apples and oranges. If Wash. had the same liberal seasons and limits that Al. has I could get the same amount down here easy, granted they don't run as big but the spring clams on Wash. can be pretty nice.
