The average person on the street is against interest rates rising and inflation, how would this possibly help him in the short term?

"Inflation ballooning is the next result of his ego-based policies."

Yes, exasperated by his policies, the Tariffs are meant to "blow up" the globalist central bank system and convert it to nationalist system by necessity, equal currency is equal fair trade.

But in the short term Tariffs will cause and exasperated and quicker route to hyper inflation of the dollar because of its sheer volume in circulation will be exposed when dollars are no longer needed or desired for international trade, no more US trade deficits will cause the value of the dollar to crash. That is why nations are wanting out of the central bank system, to avoid tariffs and to get "true" value for their manufactured goods as debt has caused an uneven playing field which cannot be corrected under the current system.

Trump is not interesting in keeping things the same as they are now, he has goals he needs to accomplish, destroying the "Deep State" and the "Central Bank", the people who put Trump in power are not interested in the short term and kicking the can down the road, they want to seize control and give it back to the people, to actually do what Kennedy said he was going to do, but in a controlled manor by using the deep state against itself, by instituting policy which will self implode the system which will result in short term "great pain" for America but then turn into great strength, wealth, self empowerment and great individual responsibility.

Both of those forms of price inflation are generally agreed by economists to be caused by monetary inflation. Follow the chart, the money supply increases first, then the price inflation happens next.

Price inflation are effects, monetary inflation is the cause. Drink Malt Liquor and fvck the Banksters!

"How long do you think it will be before China figures out a trade war with the U.S. isn't in their best interest and they come to the bargaining table?"

China wont do that because you cant compare China to Europe as the circumstances are much different. Its in China's interest for the Dollar to be valued much higher than the Yuan in the central banking system, as long as the dollar is valued higher than the Yuan China is making money, but at some point Tariffs undermine China's advantage of having a devalued currency and will force them to liquidate their US treasury holdings to assist in crashing the dollar, because at some point the central banking system will no longer be profitable for China.

After China uses its US treasuries to assist in crashing the dollar it will make new trade deals with the United States as China will want the current deficits repaid in the new currency which has equal value to its own rather than the current one which is valued in debt.

Rich really likes to use exasperate, even when it isn't the right word.

Must have been on his word-a-day calendar last week.

The dollar is currently valuable because (most) everybody needs it to do their international business under the current central banking system, offsetting the fact that it is vastly over printed and devalued at the same time, its purchasing power has declined by 97.5% in the last 50 years against gold which is still the benchmark currency all currency's are compared against.

As crazy as it sounds the value and strength of the dollar is measured by it's annual continued creation of debt. If debt is continually being created and compounded by everyone then the dollar is viewed as strong and desirable.

No, they are the ones that Trump is obsessed with...the same reason he treats this job like a reality TV show.

Trump is doubling down, as long as he touts that the economy is booming regardless of the fundamentals the Fed will have to continue to raise rates which will further strengthen the dollar but at the same time Tariffs are being implemented to offset trade deficits, making it more desirable for US treasury bond holders to cash them in for a greater return ultimately flooding the United States with worthless fiat currency forcing the United States to ultimately abandon the dollar to maintain fair and equitable trade status.

The reason Europe is wanting to make new "equal" trade deals now is because there is no advantage for them to do it later as in China case.

Trump has expressed that central bank policy of raising rates is damaging to America and puts the country at a disadvantage regarding trade and he does not support it. But his actions are contrary to those statements.

Why do you always quote news stories from the mainstream media? I thought that was all fake news?

Or is it only fake when it doesn't feed your narrative?

Don't bother answering.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/ap-fact-check-trump-overstates-his-claims-on-the-economy

As I said above...short term gains to try and jazz up his poll numbers, long term declines, because giving tax breaks to the rich and starting trade wars always results in schitty economics for the non-ultra-rich.

Well...them and the farmers who are about to cash in on their gigantic welfare.

It's tempting to think of some family farm that was dealt a shitsandwich by Trump will be able to keep their farm...but this $12B will be going to the biggest Socialists in the country...Monsanto, ConAgra, and the other gigantic mega-"farmers".

Just straight up Socialism, as usual...taking tax dollars from all of us and giving it directly to big business...and half of us smell the schit, and the other half eat it down with great relish and fanfare.

Fish on...

Trump is trying to save/maintain the necessary farming infrastructure in the United States because it is its most valuable asset and necessary to rebuild America.

Trump is trying to buy back the votes of the idiots who voted for him and then got fuckscrewed by his ego-trade wars...when most all of them find out that they won't be seeing any of our tax dollars redistributed to them Communist style, I hope they remember which fucktwit screwed them.

That fucktwit is Trump, in case you weren't paying attention.

No, not a thought, another change of subject, courtesy of Hank.

It doesn't matter how many Republicans approve of him...they clearly would approve of anyone with an "R" after their name.

Only about 40% of actual voters approve or moderately approve of him, and his ilk in Congress are doing far worse. Without the gerrymandering in districts they'd make up about 25% of both houses, even with it it will be awfully close this November.

"Maybe if estate taxes weren't so high (gosh, I wonder what political party did that) more families could keep the farms after the old folks passed away instead of being forced to sell them to agribusiness."

Now that is some TRUE chit. We should not even be paying taxes at all, taxes came with federal reserve notes because there is interest attached. The reserve prints money out of thin air based on nothing and then lends it to us with interest attached, WTF is that all about.

might as well be here as well.

So who ordered spying on the trump campaign? Now why would he feel the need to initiate that? Why has the MSM not appropriately assigned this whole thing to him?
