You might do best to run up to Eastern Bank. I've fished several times just outside of the spit at the can, and it has been slow when I've been there. I only caught native silvers.

I'm not sure it's worth the time for salmon fishing. You would do better to head west to Sekiu or east to Admiralty Inlet.
