Been a few years but we used to do pretty well dropping 'em in 30-35' all along a line from about 3/4mi out from where you clear the breakwater (coming out of the bay) running clear out to almost the inside corner of dungeness bay. Seemed like best bet was to get out/fairly close to the 35'>45' drop-off that runs parallel to shore there. Good luck.
