Maybe I am slow but I don't really understand how this topic got 12 pages (at least on my computer). I believe Phil had a right to say what he said (I don't feel it was actually that big of deal if you actually read the entire article/interview), I also believe A&E had a right to terminate his services.
In the end it will probably not hurt the shows ratings since the new season starts in January and 9 of 10 episodes have already been recorded, so either they will have to edit Phil out or he will still be in them. If anything the season premier will probably receive higher ratings this season than last (which was the highest for its category of a show in history) because people in support will tune in to see if he (Phil) is edited out. In the TV world drama equals ratings/money.
