Greetings! This is my 1st year chasing salmon, and I nailed 11 Silvers in my hometown Carbon River. Where do I go now?? I tried the Cowlitz and Satsop once earlier, but no luck. Are they still worth going to? Lost 12 Chum at Mud Bay without landing any. I thought they were so easy! Anyone willing to give some tips to a rookie?? I'm a good listener. Thanks, and fish on!

I would stick to your home river. I had a great year there last winter, just remember to release all native steelhead. And both the Carbon and Puyallup will close on March 1st. This is a change from the printed regs.
