Took a break from thesis writing and angled off the banks of the upper Sno this afternoon. I met about five or six fellow bank maggots. I was wondering if any of you are board members. I was the Hawaiian fellow fishing in shorts and sandals on this gorgeous day. It would be nice to put a face to a name.

I was there on the 12/15 and bummed a bag for my fish from someone and his fishing buddy “driving” was wearing shorts.

What's up Hairball. That was my cousin and I. I was the guy driving who got lucky with a winter-run caught below Plum. What's funny is I got pulled over for going a little too fast through Preston. The officer noticed the steelhead lying on the backseat and asked for my drivers license, registration, proof of insurance and punchcard. It was a good thing I punched it (sometimes I forget), because he let me off with just a warning. I imagine he would've ticketed me for speeding if I had forgot to punch the fish. I usually spend 2 or 3 weekday afternoons plying my driftrod on the banks of the Upper Sno this time of year, so I'll see you on the river.

Got two there Sat. My punchcard was so soggy-the punch was not legible. Wonder if the WFW knows it rains here in Washington-be nice if we went to the chad system,eh. Floated Plum to Raging.

Fished the Sno this morning, hooked 2 and landed 1 nice chrome buck around 7 pounds. River dropped like a rock after the rains.

Think I might have met ya at stevens creek last year brah. Its nice to put a face to the name. Hope ta see ya around. Its gotta get cold in the shorts though.

Kevin, I fished Stevens donning shorts just once last year. As I remember the Hump was puked and the bite pretty decent in the creek that day. I ended up thumping a nice brat and C&R'd a high-teens wild buck that January morning. Was this me??? I'll be back again this year. Say "hi" if ya see me.
