Santa Cruz is about 260 miles north of there.

So true story I'm on a job ,big McMansion in one of those pretentious [Bleeeeep!] track housing for quasi rich people gated communities, and I come around the corner and the carpenter and his helper are on some makeshift plank scaffold that looked similar to that. I said " Hey guy. Is that OSHA or OH [Bleeeeep!]". Dude says "probably oh [Bleeeeep!] har har guffaw" stupid fuckk. So I go back to what I'm doing and sure enough,BANG!!CRASHH Yelling. I run back and dude is laid out. He had to have knee surgery after that.

Pismo Beach is south of Morro Bay and it's pretty cool. There aren't so many clams there anymore that you could dig 'em up with a plow, but there's still some there. Check out the clam festival starting Oct 18th if you have a mind to.
