Drove by Black creek today on the nooch, lots of guides and people, it looks like a
little Cowlitz river. There were many LARGE
sleds. The DOW should consider expanding the
boat ramp parking lot to accommodate the extra 500 trucks and boat trailer that will show up each day to fish. The circus has arrived, lets bring in the clowns!!!!

just came from the nooch myself.mighty crowded.talked to quite a few fisherman and nobody catching fish.you can sure tell the cowlitz is bad fishing, all the thorbuilts are on the nooch.

This is not good. There really should be decent numbers of winter runs in the Nooch by now. I've been out a couple times over the last few weeks and have only been able to produce summer fish. I've only seen one winter run taken so far. Fished it yesterday and never touched a fish, but I figured the water was a day and a half from being really fishy. I'm sure the boat parade will begin this weekend, but it sounds like most of them might be going home disappointed. Still too early to call it a bust, but a few more weeks go by.......?

Don't even get me started. I've *****ed vigorously the last 2 years to no avail. I give up! I'll go elsewhere.
