You know Ryan I was thinking about heading down that way this weekend now that there is some water. I have heard of a few fish but nothing like it should be. I will send you an e-mail if I hear anything more.

I fished the Nooch yesterday. I hooked one just below the diversion dam. At Black Creek takeout I saw 2 nice fish from a driftboat and 6 fish from sleds fishing below Black Creek.
The fish are bright and are making the push up river, I would fish above Black Creek now because of the hatchery fish movement and also to get away from the sleds. Almost had an incident with a guy in a Woolridge sled just above Black Creek yesterday. I dropped anchor to drift fish a hole while he was playing with his motors, then he drifted right in front of me and cast in to the hole I was fishing. He then told me I need to learn how to fish and have some ethics and that you should never drop anchor in the middle of a drift.
Guys with ethics don't take their sleds on rivers below 2500 cfs! Driftboaters work holes differently that guys in sleds.

i could'nt agree more, jet sleds have no business being on the nooch.most of them are just cowlitz sleds that are lost.
