We beat the river for 7 1/2 hours today, hit one summer and one winter. No one else we talked to did any good. I think it was the right place at the right time, this is the fourth trip on the Snoqualmie in 2 weeks and first fish.

Gota go with Jigman,Snoquamie has been pretty slow, hooked three this morning but only landed one 8lb winter run on the lower Green fishing jig & bobber between Kent & Auburn. Goodluck

Speaking of Kent -- and just shoo me away or ignore me altogether if I'm stepping on privy info here -- has anyone ever fished below the 212th bridge for winter steelies? I know this is a popular hole for silvers, but I've never seen anyone fishing for steelhead there. I've seen some guys plunking on the road south of the KOA (can't remember what it's called right now), but where does drift fishing for steelhead begin in earnest on the Green? Thanks all, and a merry belated Christmas. I spent mine down in swampy, muddy-watered Louisiana with my girlfriend and her family, dreaming of clear water and bright fish...

Hit the Snoqualmie until 12:30 today, nothing. Saw one fish boated, pretty slow, sounds like the Green is a better bet.

HSL:yeah from Allentown to Meeker st. bridge are more plunkers; I like to fish(Drift and bobber/jig fishing)from the soccer fields to the 8th st. bridge at this time; and up at the flaming geyser in mid january.
