This is a pretty great interactive site from Johns Hopkins. https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6As "Amazing" and "Tremendous" and "10 out of a 10" our response has been, the US is on the same trajectory as Italy. Once we actually start testing people en masse we are going to find out that there are likely tens of thousands of infected people who aren't being counted yet, because we haven't tested hardly anyone. That's what I saw, as well...but they had things like high blood pressure, assorted heart conditions, etc....they weren't dying because of exotic or weird things.
You may have noticed that about 40% of the US population has obese, has high blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, etc...they are all at risk...not to mention that nearly 20% of the US population is over 65...about 60 million people.
Our country is loaded with fat, old, sick people.

Since we are mostly tracking the exact same path at Italy, both in infection rate and beds/person, here is some information about where we may be headed.
In Italy there are 47,021 confirmed cases. 4440 have recovered, and 4032 have died.
That's about 10% that have recovered, and 10% that have died, and the other 80% are still sick.

Good info, I'm sure we will have the same results as Europe.
I have had body aches since Tuesday, just sore everywhere, I tried to get a cough earlier in the week but no other symptoms, I am probably fine.
