I fear for the economy too but then what good is a good economy when we're all dead? Also, the economy would recover faster had some twats in D.C. not waited so long to take action. Political fuckheads.

Considering how quickly Covid-19 exploded here, and how quickly we got on the social distancing, followed by stay at home rules, we've flattened the curve in Washington, in the original epicenter of the pandemic in the US, faster than any other state.

By any measure, the rest of the states should be watching what we did, and do exactly that.

That "imploding economy" you are talking about is you talking out your ass...we had one of the very best economies in the entire nation, and still do, and still will.

I’m not much of a fan of Inslee’s, but I think he’s done a good job regarding this so far. I’d rather shorten the curve on this with some pain now to the economy then to have it stretch for a long time, which would hurt even more.

It’s funny how often folks like to take shots at the 206ers yet live in counties that produce little tax revenue from their economies but will suck the state’s [Bleeeeep!] for every dime they can get.

I'm no Inslee fan either, but the fact is that he has performed very well as a leader in regards to dealing with the coronavirus. I think he's clinched his re-election. I might even vote for him even though I'm adamantly opposed to 3rd terms.

Back when FDR was running for an unprecedented third term one campaign slogan was "Better a third termer than a third rater". There is always the possibility that the GOP can run a competent competitor. Tiny, but it's there.
